Since 2019, Landewyck in northern Luxembourg has been operating a new site with cutting-edge production equipment in both Primary and Secondary functions. At the long-standing site in Trier, which was established in 1925, around 250 employees focus on filling cut tobacco. In mid-2021 Landewyck decided to connect all its machines in both factories to a data recording system, with the aim being to analyse all the relevant production data at any time and thus to gain insights for optimisation efforts.
