Reuse of sustainable products and materials
The excessive consumption of the Earth's resources is worsening and has a profoundly negative impact on the environment. We need to consume resources more wisely, use our products for longer, and find better ways to reuse or recycle them.
Recognizing the need to rethink the life cycles of instruments and how they can be repurposed to meet new demands and save resources led us to create our Lifetime Extension program for test stations. In this program, we update older instruments with the latest measuring technology by building upon existing infrastructure and reusing or refurbishing existing parts for a more sustainable outcome.
Our Lifetime Extension Program, which focuses on updating older instruments with the latest measuring technology, began with our well-known and widely used test station HAUNI OMI+. The refurbishment process, which can be done at customer’s site, involves a comprehensive update of the data technologies within each single measurement module, allowing for the integration of a state-of-the-art data management system.
